Passport Bros are being drugged and robbed after meeting Colombian women they find on the dating app Tinder. In Medellin Colombia Criminal organizations are targeting foreign men through dating apps, to match with Colombian women. These Colombian women will meet up with their targets at their Airbnb apartments and drug them with a substance called Scopolamine Colombia. In more tragic cases many tourists have lost their lives in Colombia, from trying to resist a robbery and getting fatally hurt.
Passport bros traveling to Colombia need to be aware of these risks. Not only does Colombia have high crime rates, but most travelers do not speak Spanish which gives them a bigger disadvantage, and more susceptible to becoming a victim of crime.
